SAIL TRAINING INTERNATIONAL BURSARY SCHEME 2012

The Sail Training International Bursary Scheme  2012 is designed to provide funding to support the participation of young Irish people in The Tall Ships Races 2012. 

The STI bursary scheme will be offered (on application) to young people who are:

•    disadvantaged and who might otherwise not be able to participate in the race.
•    15 – 25 years old;
•    residents in Ireland

There will be one bursary made available to each County on the Island of Ireland (Republic and Northern Ireland). 


Those young people allocated a bursary under the scheme will be offered a place on Sail Training International approved Vessels.
