Jubilee Sailing Trust - October 2012 - Irish Sea Programme on board Tenacious
The Jubilee Sailing Trust operate the only two, Class A, wheelchair accesible Tall Ships in the world.These ships are specially designed
to offer a unique Tall Ship Sailing experience. Their aim is to allow people of all ages both able bodied and those with varying degrees of physical disabilty to work side by side as equals.
This autumn, the Tenacious will provide trainees from all over Ireland with an opportunity to take to the high seas and experience the thrill of sailing a Tall Ship. Activities range from stowing the sails and climbing the mast and include team building activities and helming the 65 metre vessel in open water.
It truly is a unique experience and we are very excited that the JST has shown its commitment to Ireland by scheduling these voyages.

The JST Irish branch (member of S.T.IRL.) can be reached at JST IRISH BRANCH for booking information and on the particular facilities for people with disabilities. These include hearing and visual empairements, wheelchair users and certain learning disabilities too. Below you can see some information sheets which you are welcome to print of for notice boards etc.
