The aims and objectives of the organisation are:
To promote & support:
- The development and education of young men and women through the sail training experience.
- Sail training vessels
- Training activities worldwide
- Knowledge of all subjects associated with the sea and matters maritime
- Sponsor and support sea-going trainees
- Cooperation and engagement with other sail training associations and organisations
- Work with Sail Training International (STI) to establish a STI endorsed maritime festival every 3/5 Years
